Wow, this work is drop-jaw gorgeous! I write a series of novels based on prehistoric cats, and I sketch to try and visualize my characters.

That IS the book that inspired me to start paleo-art when I read it in 2006 ...and is exactly why I do mostly Ice-age North America, I'm trying to bring to life, and understand everything that was a part of the last "Super-Serengeti". It's probably no coincidence that it appears to be the "perfect book" for me. lol

I'm a big fan of serchio, he's very talented! - Our techniques and content are admittedly similar but I've never seen that as a bad thing :) We both came onto deviant at about the same time and had already developed our abilities independently. He uses great methods to determine accuracy of scale and weight estimations for his restorations that are far more accurate than most!
