Your artwork, it's very awesome! I got a great project you may like to do: it is a poster of all members, living and extinct, of the Proboscidea (the elephant group). I hope I'm not being '';pushy''

thanks! - I hardly ever have time for these anymore but i'll try to get some information on the creatures you mentioned, if I can find enough they would indeed make very interesting reconstructions

Hey just wanted to say I'm incredibly impressed by your work, and being something of a paleo buff myself (prehistoric mammal megafauna specifically) I particularly enjoyed the variety and depth of research you've clearly put into the artwork of your gallery. Any chance of seeing Coelodonta, Gigantopithecus or more Smilodon in the near future? Hardly ever see those first two and I'd love to see your take on them, and your Smilodon is fantastic. Alright enough rambling - keep up the great work man and I look forward to seeing more.

Yup! Very good reason to get interested about extinct mammals.
I gotta found that book. I am reading Jordi Agusti, book "Mammoths, Sabertooths and Hominids:
65 Million Years of Mammalian Evolution in Europe"

I have a lots of new and wild ideas for 1:1 scales of cenozoic mammals! Especially from paleocene period, "the dark epoch"

Yeah, i read a great online book at [link] that got me inspired to make mammal reconstructions... they are so recently extinct that our modern ecosystems seem incomplete as far as worldwide bio-diversity goes... Every continent except Antarctica used to be as rich with highly competitive large wildlife as Africa is today.

I've been doing a lot of abstract painting lately. Extremely abstract. No brush, no paint, no canvas. I just think about it.

Thank you for adding me to your friends list!:)

You have done wonderfull artistic work and I am glad that you are interested in making recently extinct mammals. That is rare in these days, because it seems that most of paleoartists are concentrated to a dinosaurs only.

For example, I am very interested in mesozoic mammals and I try to make as many accurate mammal models as possible

Thanks, I think once I get a bit more material that is acceptably accurate, I will do that, If you look at my deinonychus WIP comments you will see that it is actually my first dinosaur reconstruction I've done, so I honestly don't have ANY complete dinosaurs made yet. I also need to obtain permission for a lot of my source material as well, which is what I'm in the process of doing right now (I should have done it first but I started out just tinkering with this technique)
